Banking Fraud Specialist in Alexandria, VA

Start date: Mid-March!

• Contract position for a minimum of 6 - 12 months 
• $19/hr.
• M- F, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 100% onsite training for minimum of 3-4 weeks
• 50% hybrid schedule after training.
• Schedule can change to fully onsite at any time.

CSR/Banking Fraud Specialist

• Investigate and respond to fraudulent claims activity to determine necessary action to be taken
• Make outbound follow up calls to members as needed to ask questions about their accounts & fraud claims
• Partner directly with internal clients to research and resolve fraudulent activity
• Process adjustments to member's accounts as needed
• Communicate investigation results to members via phone, mail and/or email
• Utilize Excel for tracking of accounts to be researched

CSR/Banking Fraud Specialist Requirements

• Education: High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
• 2+ years in financial services (preferred)
• Experience with fraud investigations is a big plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Bonus Skills for the CSR Banking Fraud Specialist (Not Required):

• Experience with Salesforce, LexisNexis, Hogan, FDR, or OFAC
• Familiarity with SAR (Suspicious Activity Report) filing
