We’re hiring a Precision Construction Support Specialist to support machine control and grade control systems including John Deere SmartGrade, Topcon, and Trimble. This role blends hands-on equipment work, technology troubleshooting, and customer support in the field.

What You’ll Do

• As the Precision Construction Support Specialist you will install, calibrate, and prepare machine control systems before delivery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine control, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
• Provide first-level support to customers and internal teams
• Work closely with Precision Construction Specialists and service technicians
• Communicate with OEM and supplier technical support to resolve issues end-to-end
• Support customers and internal staff with system training as needed

Training & Growth

• Complete required John Deere SmartGrade, Topcon, and related training
• Learn multiple machine control platforms and emerging technologies
• Stay current with evolving construction technology

What We’re Looking For

• Knowledge of grade control or construction technology (hands-on or transferable)
• Understanding of construction equipment and job site applications
• Mechanical aptitude; ability to read schematics a plus
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance or repair preferred
• Welding experience a plus
• Willingness to travel, work outdoors year-round, and support job sites

Work Environment

• Construction job sites and shop environments
• Physical role (lifting, climbing, working on heavy equipment)
• Occasional overnight travel
