Looking for experience industrial maintenance technicians, preferably with PLC and controls experience

Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function: Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test systems, precision measuring tools, and technical publications.
Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and maintain production lines and associated systems to minimize downtime.
Ensure continuous operation of machinery by completing maintenance requirements and identifying issues early.
Locate root causes of equipment problems by observing machinery in operation and listening for abnormalities.
Adjust functional parts, control instruments, and mechanical devices using appropriate hand tools and testing equipment.
Production Support & Compliance
Communicate effectively with production teams regarding equipment status, downtime, and preventive maintenance needs.
Control downtime by educating production workers on basic preventive techniques and monitoring compliance.
Maintain accurate maintenance reports, documentation, and CMMS entries.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories, including anticipating needs and verifying receipt of materials.
Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
Food Safety, Quality & Safety
Take immediate action to prevent food safety or food quality issues.
Adhere to all company policies, values, and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following proper housekeeping procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase reliability, reduce costs, and improve productivity.
Teamwork & Professional Development
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating repairs, irregularities, and long-term needs.
Provide maintenance information by answering technical questions and supporting internal customers.
Participate in training, workshops, and ongoing education to maintain and expand technical knowledge.
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership based on business and production needs.
Qualifications & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food processing or packaging environment preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background.
Experience with robotics, automation, and PLC systems highly desired.
Knowledge of production machinery repair, troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic systems.
CMMS experience highly preferred.
Ammonia training is a plus.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Must be quality- and safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated.
Regular and punctual attendance is required.
Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
