Job Title: Generator Mechanic
Location: Gretna, NE
Pay: $30–$50/hour (DOE) + OT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (5–10 hours OT/week)
Travel: Some overnight travel required

About the Generator Mechanic role:
We are seeking a skilled Generator Mechanic to join our team in Gretna, NE. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay, steady hours, and full benefits. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing power generation equipment, with a focus on ensuring reliable performance for our clients.

What the Generator Mechanic will do:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair generator systems, including diesel and natural gas units.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Work with Cummins, Blue Star, and other generator brands.
• Travel to customer sites (including occasional overnight stays) for service calls.
• Accurately document work performed and maintain service records.
• Collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service.

What We’re Looking for in a Generator Mechanic:

• Previous generator mechanic experience required (3+ years preferred).
• Experience with Cummins or Blue Star equipment highly desired.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
