Helper Mechanic
We are looking for a motivated Helper Mechanic to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, lifts, and accessibility ramps. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem-solving, and being part of a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist experienced mechanics in installing, servicing, and repairing elevators, lifts, and ramps
• Support the Helper Mechanic team with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Complete service reports, time sheets, and expense documentation accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with office staff, customers, and project managers
• Represent the company professionally on all job sites
• Be available for occasional after-hours or emergency service calls
• Travel and work out of town for up to one week at a time as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–3 years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or construction-related field preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a DOT physical card
• OSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 40 feet
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
