Maintenance Mechanic (Packaging)

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and repair packaging equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and keep production lines running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repair on plant equipment and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Complete setups, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout.
• Maintain a clean work area and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or technical training preferred, or equivalent experience as a maintenance mechanic.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively.
• Physically able to lift 65 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a production environment.
