CSR Fraud Specialist – Alexandria, VA
Contract: 6–12 months (possible permanent hire)
Pay: $19/hr
Location: Onsite for training (2–3 weeks), then 50% hybrid; may switch to fully onsite

Role Overview The CSR Fraud Specialist investigates fraudulent activity, resolves claims, and communicates findings to members and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and respond to fraud claims
• Make outbound calls to members for account verification
• Partner with internal clients to resolve issues
• Process account adjustments
• Communicate results via phone, mail, or email
• Track accounts using Excel

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Schedule may change to fully onsite

Requirements

• Education: HS Diploma required; Associate’s preferred
• Experience: 2+ years in financial services preferred
• Skills:
  
  • Fraud investigation experience helpful
  • Detail-oriented, strong research skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication
  • Quick learner & adaptable
  • Tech-savvy; MS Office required
  • Experience with Salesforce, LexisNexis, Hogan, or FDR a plus
  • SAR and OFAC knowledge a plus
