Overview of the HR Business Partner

Are you a strategic HR professional with a passion for building strong partnerships between employees and leadership? We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and help shape a high-performance, people-first culture.

As an HR Business Partner you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, aligning human resources practices with business goals. From employee engagement and talent management to compliance and employee relations—you’ll play a key role in driving a positive employee experience and fostering a thriving workplace.

Duties for the HR Business Partner

• Advise on HR policies and ensure compliance with employment laws
• Manage complex employee relations and conduct investigations
• Lead employee engagement efforts, surveys, and action planning
• Oversee performance management, internal promotions, and organizational changes
• Handle complaints and workplace investigations with discretion and professionalism
• Maintain accurate personnel records and manage exit interviews
• Support disciplinary actions, unemployment claims, and HR inquiries
• Continuously improve HR processes, systems, and employee programs

Requirements for the HR Business Partner

• Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of HR experience
• Strong knowledge of employment regulations and compliance
• Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel & Outlook)
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification preferred
• High emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity

Schedule for the HR Business Partner

• M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hybrid 
• Light travel

• $60-$70K, DOE
