Overview of Insurance Sales Specialist

Delivers excellence in customer service to policyholders and prospective insureds specializing in inbound sales of commercial auto insurance.

Duties of the Insurance Sales Specialist

Answers coverage and other underwriting questions and billing and payment questions. Delivers price options and closes sales for directly with the customer

• Inbound sales of commercial auto insurance policies
• Delivers price options and closes sales directly with the customer
• Identifies and evaluates risks, prices, and determines policy terms and conditions for approval in accordance with company guidelines
• Utilize technology and data for coverage determination and premium calculation
• Provide excellent customer service for existing customers
• Strong communication and decision-making skills via phone and email.

Requirements for the Insurance Sales Specialist

• Associate degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience in customer-facing role, preferably in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated industry
• Prior sales experience is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic math knowledge
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Schedule & Pay of the Insurance Sales Specialist

• M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• $27 - $28/hr.
