PHR or SPHR certification is desired but not required.
5 years’ experience in human resources
3 years’ experience working with federal contracting companies
Serve as primary HR contact for employees and managers in Omaha and regional locations as needed.
Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and compliance matters.
Support recruitment efforts including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Manage benefits enrollment, leave administration, and workers’ compensation coordination.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
Collaborate with leadership on organizational development and workforce planning initiatives.
Maintain accurate HR records and reporting, including personnel files and HRIS data integrity.
Facilitate training programs and employee engagement initiatives.
Lead or participate in special projects, including DEI efforts, wellness programs, and process improvement initiatives.
