First National Bank of Omaha is looking to fill a Sr. Analyst, Data Analysis position in Omaha, NE (may telecommute part of time from home within Omaha, NE MSA). Master’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in statistics, business intelligence, or a related technical field and two years’ experience as a business intelligence analyst or in a related occupation.
Experience must include the following specific experience and knowledge:

1. 2 years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Power BI or equivalent (such as Tableau) to create dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
2. 1 year of experience in business intelligence or business analysis.
3. 1 year of experience developing, or editing and maintaining, Excel-Based VBA macros.
4. 1 year of experience using SQL to extract and manipulate data for reporting or data analysis.
5. 1 year of experience using Python for data analysis.
6. Advanced skills and experience using Python, SAS and SQL for data science and business intelligence

As a Sr. Analyst, Data Analysis within First National Bank of Omaha's Decision Sciences, Customer Analytics team, you will serve as an in-house consultant to the Business Segment organization. This role will require utilization of Python, SAS, SQL, PowerBI, and other programming languages.
POSITION DUTIES:
Analyze business needs or opportunities:

• Develop, produce, and improve recurring reports for assigned business units.
• Proactively identify business needs for improvement through data analysis.
• Recommend opportunities and improvements to the customer experience that will improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
• Provide recommendations, implementation plans, and documentation.
• Help identify and execute on opportunities for increased efficiency while improving business intelligence.
• Automate deployment and delivery of standard reporting and communicate results to business units.
• Complete ad-hoc analytical requests/process improvements.

Analyze portfolio trends and utilize benchmark studies to identify the gaps in risk and product:

• Research and analyze the portfolio trends.
• Utilize various benchmark studies to identify new opportunities.

Analyze business problems, track, and report changes:

• Analyze business problems with recommendations and implementation plan.
• Track and conduct analysis to current strategies.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses and reporting.
