Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Omaha, NE 
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Orientation starts at 7:45 AM on Mondays)
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000

Overview:
A well-established manufacturing facility in Omaha is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead site-level HR operations and strategy. This individual will guide a growing team in driving a culture of accountability, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in labor relations, employee development, and HR compliance within a manufacturing setting. Experience in a unionized environment is a major plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with site leadership to drive HR initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals
• Provide hands-on support and coaching to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation
• Lead labor relations efforts including contract negotiation, grievance resolution, and union communication
• Oversee the full employee life cycle: from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and succession planning
• Collaborate with operations and corporate teams to ensure consistent practices across the organization
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR documentation, including job descriptions and org charts
• Support payroll accuracy by reviewing bi-weekly inputs from supervisors
• Serve as the point of contact for internal HR inquiries, fostering transparency and trust across all levels

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or related industries
• 5+ years of direct experience with union/labor relations strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law, especially Nebraska regulations
• Confident in handling investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and organizational development
• Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and build trust at all levels of an organization
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred

• Office-based with occasional exposure to production areas (noise, heat, cold, moisture)
• May require occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds
• Some flexibility in schedule may be needed depending on operational demands
