First National Bank of Omaha is looking to fill a Senior Developer, Technology position in Omaha, NE (May telecommute part of time from home within the Omaha, NE MSA).Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science or a related field (will also accept equivalence to such degree in accordance with 8 CFR 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D)) and six years’ progressively responsible experience in the occupation, as a software engineer, or in a related information-technology field.
Experience must include the following specific experience and knowledge:

• 6 years’ experience working on Hibernate framework.
• 6 years’ experience working on Testing frameworks and integration testing.
• 6 years’ experience working on Version Control tools and SVN for versioning and collaboration.
• 5 years’ experience working with designing and consuming REST Services.
• 5 years’ experience working on Databases like Oracle / SQL Server.
• 5 years’ experience working on Web deployment technologies like HTML and Angular JS.
• 5 years’ experience working on deploying and managing enterprise applications and application servers like JBoss, WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat.
• 2 years’ experience working on Microservices framework or architecture and inter-service communication.
• 2 years’ experience working on build tools like Maven and Gradle.

As a Sr. Developer, Technology you will work independently and in collaboration with the delivery team, stakeholders and vendors to implement new features, patch/upgrade applications, mitigate risks, eliminate technical debt, and ensure systems are running efficiently. Implement development operations techniques, including CI/CD and test automation, and utilize modern development practices and principles, as well as cloud-hosted infrastructure. Work in an Agile environment as part of a high performing, collaborative team.
POSITION DUTIES:
Build and maintain systems with current and emerging technologies while leveraging and expanding system capabilities. Provide creative solutions to cross platform technical problems. Partner with customers to establish requirements and close identified gaps. Provide strong problem-solving skills, methodology and approach and review problems by using experience, analytical skills, and creative thinking to develop solutions. Lead and/or participate in structured walkthroughs, technical reviews, strategic planning and road mapping efforts. Create documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, and charts to demonstrate sound solutions. Provide onsite and offsite support for the processing cycles of production systems. Some evening and/or weekend work required to support production deployments, critical incidents, or critical projects. Support the Delivery Lead in adhering to Agile Scrum best practices. Troubleshoot and debug software and hardware problems across the application portfolio. Manage and maintain application and software lifecycle. Ensure critical applications are optimized for high availability and disaster recovery.
