First National Bank of Omaha is looking to fill a Senior Automation Engineer position reporting to Omaha, NE (May Telecommute from home residence anywhere up to 100% of time). Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in Computer Science, M.I.S., or a related field and six years’ progressively responsible experience in the occupation or a related IT field.
Experience must include the following specific experience and knowledge:
- 5 years’ experience using Load and performance automation tools – i.e., Jmeter.
- 5 years’ hands-on experience using Java as programming language.
- 5 years’ experience using automation tools:
- 5 years’ experience in Web, API, and Performance testing and automation.
- 5 years’ experience executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
- 4 years’ experience in writing SQL queries across various databases..
- 2 years’ experience using tools: Appium, Rest Assured, Postman.
- 2 years’ hands-on experience using Dynatrace.
- 2 years’ hands-on experience with scripting lang using VB script, Groovy, Python.
- 2 years’ hands-on experience using AWS.
- 2 years’ hands-on experience using ServiceNow or Rally.
- 1 year hands-on experience with Mainframes.
- Any amount of experience setting up and maintaining automation frameworks.
- Any amount of experience using CI/CD practices using Jenkins or GitLab.
- Any amount of experience working with Quick sight.
- Any amount of experience planning, developing, documenting, and maintaining a regression testing strategy.
- Any amount of experience working on Regression testing, Smoke testing, Unit testing and System testing.
- Any amount of experience working on Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases and Test Scripts.
As a Senor Automation Engineer with First National Bank of Omaha, you will drive and manage automation strategy for their team and has full authority to vet requirements, hold sessions to learn about stories to be worked, create strategy for successful testing of the project, create test scripts/test cases, execute tests, and perform full analysis of potential issues with recommendations as applicable. Fully responsible to make decisions that will affect the quality of releases for their team/applications. Has autonomy to make changes to automation framework to meet needs. Make recommendations, advisement, decision, and implementation for any automation standards/best practices.
POSITION DUTIES:
Lead and collaborate with their delivery team to build automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Analyze and understand the current technology architecture, system interdependencies and application stacks. Lead by example in exhibiting initiative for self-learning of new technical skills and tools. Drive consistent improvement and knowledge sharing principles across the team. Lead automation strategies/solutions and projects within team and across discipline. Evaluate and propose use of new tools for continuous improvement and driving automation strategies forward. Experience building, testing, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining effective test automation solutions. Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Set up and maintain Automation Frameworks. Mentor others in test automation, programming, and QA best practices. Work independently researching, solving, and programming complex automation solutions.
RATE OF PAY: $125,965.65 per year.
