First National Bank of Omaha is looking to fill a Senior Developer, Technology position in Omaha, NE (May Telecommute part of time from personal residence within Omaha, NE M.S.A.). Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science, management information systems, or a related field and 7 years’ progressively responsible experience as a software developer or related occupation.
Experience must include the following specific experience and knowledge:

• 7 years’ experience implementing solutions with GIT and Maven
• 7 years’ experience in applying CI/CD concepts using tools such as GIT and Jenkins
• 7 years’ experience in designing and developing Web Applications using systems such as Service Oriented Architecture / Web services
• 7 years’ experience in building REST services in Java using EJB’s, JMS, entities, value objects, domain events and aggregates
• 5 years’ experience working with Java
• 4 years’ experience working in SOAP or API based development
• 3 years’ experience using Test Driven Development to deliver software solutions
• 3 years’ experience working within an Agile Development Methodology
• 3 years’ of experience in implementing solutions using spring.io, Spring Cloud & other Spring Frameworks leveraging Microservice Technology Patterns; and API Management and Cataloging
• 3 years’ experience using any test cases and test case executive for web applications

As a Sr. Developer, Technology you will be responsible for collaborating with the Delivery team to ensure the solutions developed will deliver value and improve the quality of the software.  This includes partnering with the Solution Architect, Lead Developer, Product Owner, and Squad team members to define and deliver solutions. Responsible for delivering software solutions to complex business problems and attending and participating in all Scrum ceremonies.
POSITION DUTIES:
Use Java and Spring framework to develop clean and effective APIs and microservices alongside front-end technologies. Analyze, design, develop, and implement SOAP and RESTful services and APIs based on architecture guidelines and frameworks. Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code. Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team to meet development schedules. Create and modify software, prepare test data, and participate in story refinement and grooming. Solve complex problems through innovative and creative solutions. Assess the health and performance of software applications and databases. Participate in an on-call rotation.
