Power Generation Field Technician
Cornerstone Staffing has partnered with a regional power generation service provider to add a Power Generation Field Technician to the team. This role focuses on servicing and repairing generators, with an emphasis on Cummins and Blue Star Power Systems. The technician will travel within the region, working on-site at healthcare, commercial, industrial, and agricultural locations.

Pay/Benefits for the Power Generation Field Technician:

• $26.00 - $42.00 per hour + OT
• Full benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, life insurance
• Company-provided tools and equipment

Shift/Location for the Power Generation Field Technician:

• Monday – Friday, 40-60 hours per week
• Some regional travel required

Responsibilities for the Power Generation Field Technician:

• Diagnose and repair diesel, natural gas, and propane generator systems
• Perform routine maintenance, including inspections, oil changes, and cooling system servicing
• Troubleshoot and repair automatic transfer switches and generator electrical components
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide detailed service reports

Requirements for the Power Generation Field Technician:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• Experience with power generation, diesel engines, or electrical systems
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems
• Clean driving record and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
• Willingness to travel as needed
