We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with GAAP. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciling general ledger accounts, and assessing accounting records for accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Conduct cost analysis on purchase and production costs.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely documentation.
Assist in preparing sales tax returns.
Provide backup support for staff accounting and accounts payable.
Organize the month-end close process.
Collaborate with leadership to improve accounting policies and financial reporting.
Handle special projects as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or cross-functionally.
Preferred: Auditing experience and inventory management expertise in a manufacturing setting.
