The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and completing journal entries, and supporting accounts payable and receivable while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. 
  
Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Conduct timely and accurate general ledger account reconciliations.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Analyze account activity and provide variance explanations to leadership.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.

• Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-player mentality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take accountability for work.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the independent financial services industry.
