Low Voltage Technician Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, you will primarily work on servicing and installing residential lift systems. Our ideal candidate has a certificate that follows the standards set by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and some experience working with low-voltage systems.

Shift/Pay for Low Voltage Technician:

• M-F 7am-4pm (NO nights/holidays)
• Travel is required, and the candidate needs to have a flexible schedule. All travel is around the Sioux Falls area within 3-4 hours
• Multiple overnights/month- MUST be able to travel almost 75-80% of the time
• Pay: $25-30/hr (depending on experience)

Low Voltage Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clients to install systems on-site
• Respond to repair calls
• Read blueprints to determine how to best install the components and wiring
• Test all systems and troubleshoot any issues
• Teach the client how to use the system

Low Voltage Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Electrician experience AND mechanical experience
• Blueprint reading skills
• Strong communication skills
• Mechanical skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
