Temp Recruiter. $32-37/hr, Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Temp Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team and oversee our recruiting functions. To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for recruiting candidates through various channels, planning interviews, and selection procedures.
This position will be located in our Omaha office.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Collaborate and partner with managers to determine hiring needs. Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent and ensure goals are met.
• Strategically and proactively source passive and active candidates to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline for current and future workforce needs.
• Understand and anticipate internal and external labor market conditions.
• Identify recruiting sources, assess new talent, and develop new methods to attract talent.
• Serve as an ambassador for Boyd Jones when reaching out to candidates and interacting with partners.
• Perform phone interviews and facilitate in-person and virtual interviews, all the way through to candidate offer process.
• Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations to increase offer acceptance probability.
• Work to find additional ways to get Boyd Jones active in the construction industry and within the community.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to build and maintain effective customer and professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship-building and consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment.
• Strong candidate experience delivery, screening, and sourcing skills.
• Knowledge of technologies that impact the recruiting industry.
• Sophisticated communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills with thorough attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the use of social media use, direct search methodologies, ATS, and Office.
• Ability to interact and engage with personnel at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
• Preferred background in a retained search firm, agency, or corporation.
• Preferred experience within the construction industry.
Education & Training:
• Preferred Associate or bachelor’s Degree with a business-related concentration.
Working Conditions:
• Normally works in a general office environment with the use of computer, printer, telephone, copier, fax, and calculator. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
