Duties  

• Process invoices, verify accuracy, obtain necessary approvals, and ensure timely payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and resolve discrepancies.
• Code financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
• Perform data entry of employee time sheets, ensuring accurate tracking of hours worked.
• Input inventory orders, code invoices, and match invoices with purchase orders.
• Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely and accurate payment distribution.
• Set up new jobs in the system, ensuring all relevant information including permits are accurately recorded.
• Monitor aging reports to track outstanding payments and take necessary actions to resolve overdue accounts.
• Manage petty cash, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of expenditures.

Qualifications   

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years' Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new processes and procedures in order to ensure efficiency and excellence in A/P Processing
• Working knowledge of computers and experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• Experience in a professional work environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skill set
• Attention to detail with an ability to recognize discrepancies
• Excellent analytical, math and organization skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
