Overview of the Corporate Events Planner
  
The Corporate Events Planner will be actively involved in organizing and coordinating various company events, including employee gatherings, agent workshops, conventions, tenure anniversaries, retirements, etc.
  
*** This is a long-term contract opportunity.  There could be a possibility for hire with good performance.  ***
  
Key Responsibilities for the Corporate Events Planner

• Collaborate with the events team to brainstorm and communicate event ideas.
• Collect project information to ensure quality, creating timelines and identifying necessary materials (graphic services, printed materials, gifts, décor).
• Research venues, conduct site visits, and evaluate resources for event options.
• Secure event spaces, arrange catering, order supplies, and coordinate audiovisual needs and décor.
• Design and adjust room layouts, working with venue staff to finalize details.
• Act as the liaison with vendors, monitor materials, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Manage on-site production and cleanup as needed.
• Organize and direct event volunteers, including interns.
• Prepare nametags, materials, gift bags, registration lists, and seating cards.
• Coordinate delivery of invitations and gifts.
• Review and recommend event bills for accuracy, negotiating discrepancies as needed.
• Close out events and finalize all related tasks.

Education Requirements for the Corporate Events Planner

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

Schedule of the Corporate Events Planner

• M- F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  O.T. as needed for events
• Possibility for hybrid at manager’s discretion
• Some local, in-town travel required

Compensation of the Corporate Events Planner

• $19 - $21/hr.+, DOE
