Overview of the Marketing Manager
 
Newly created role to implement direct B2B &B2C marketing campaigns.  Oversee planning & execution of all digital marketing campaigns.  Improve digital ads, marketing channels, Google Ads, SEO, etc. to drive customers to our site.
Responsible for developing new strategies, analyzing data & KPI's to ensure successful marketing campaigns, etc.
 
*** This is contract role for approximately 12 months***
 

• The business unit is growing, and this role will play an essential role in driving customer engagement
• No guarantees of full-time hire, but it could be a possibility depending on business needs, job performance, etc.

 
Responsibilities for the Marketing Manager
 

• Acquires comprehensive knowledge of our business, products, target customers, the insurance industry, and competitors to create an integrated marketing plan aimed at achieving growth and profitability goals.
• Assesses the overall health of the marketing funnel, identifying new opportunities to enhance funnel performance and reduce customer acquisition costs.
• Offers strategic guidance for marketing campaigns across various platforms and channels, overseeing their development, implementation, maintenance, and results reporting.
• Networks and collaborates with internal resources to effectively utilize their capabilities.
• Establishes an archiving process for all marketing materials, including legal and compliance review documentation.
• Keeps up-to-date with the evolving marketing landscape, identifying new initiatives for testing.
• Creates and maintains regular reports and performance presentations for management and stakeholders.

 
Act as the day-to-day lead for all marketing functions, including:
 

• Analytics and reporting: utilizes existing and potential data sources to perform analytics and develops reports that deliver data-driven, actionable insights.

 

• Website: uses content management system and works with developers and designers to make regular improvements that increase conversion rates.

 

• SEM, display, and retargeting: manages spend, performance and optimization of campaigns, facilitates creative/ad format testing, message frequency and sequencing, campaign planning, and overarching optimization strategy.

 

• SEO: oversees strategic planning and tactical efforts that increase organic conversions in a cost-effective manner.

 

• Email marketing: develops campaigns, from planning through analysis, including development of tests/creative, list management, QA, response tracking and performance analysis.

 

• Creative: Ensures brand, messaging, and designs speak effectively to our target audience and capture the unique essence of our value proposition.

 

• Direct mail: creates campaigns using customer segments to drive acquisition while managing costs to target.

 

• Social: drives engagement that leads to conversions in existing social channels and identifies opportunities to expand into additional social channels.

 
Additional Duties of the Marketing Manager
 

• Performs related duties as directed or as situation dictates such as participating in other activities, projects, and initiatives as required.

 
Required Knowledge of the Marketing Manager
 

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
• At least 7 years of marketing experience (preferably business-to-small-business or business-to-consumer) including at least 3 years of online and email marketing experience.
• Experience handling large volumes of data and compiling results analyses.
• Demonstrated analytical/presentation
• Exceptional at managing project timelines, meeting deadlines, and maintaining communication on important initiatives and duties with management and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PPT.
• Must have experience working with pivot tables in Excel

 
Schedule for the Marketing Manager
 

• M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Hybrid Scheduling after training

 
Compensation Range for the Marketing Manager
 

• $70K -$100K+, DOE
