RESPONSIBILITIES The role
Our client is looking for Production Operatives to join their existing team in Wrexham Industrial Estate on full time, temp to perm contracts. Full training is provided for this position, the day to day responsibilities as a Production Operative are as follows – · To ensure Health and Safety requirements are met at all times. · Creating molds with use of appropriate machinery and control procedures to company specific standards. · To contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring product is produced to deadlines, and to quality and cost requirements, in a safe manner. · Leaching parts using solution, whilst avoiding damage and ensuring all soluble is removed. · To keep the work area and machinery clean and tidy. · To provide flexibility and assist in other areas of the business as required. · Maintain timescales according to job cards. · Ensure that work routing is strictly adhered to, to ensure that deviations are agreed, and exceptions followed. · Quality check parts ready for onward processes to ensure they meet the customers standards and specifications.
Key skills required · Ability to interpret measurements and standards set for tooling machinery. · Proven manual dexterity skills in handling intricate fragile parts within a production environment. · Ability to be flexible and adaptable to meet business needs, working as part of a production team and also as an individual. · Ability to work and conform to set procedures. · Attention to detail and ability to identify defects.
