Job Title: MEP Revit Technician (2 years of experience up to senior)
Site Location: Manchester
Responsible to: Design Manager
Purpose of the Role: To provide Revit MEP expertise, liaise with clients, support project delivery, and contribute to the coordination of complex MEP services within a professional team.
Client Brief: Delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions for prestigious and high-profile projects in Manchester, across the UK, and globally.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for Vacancy: Expanding the team to support growth and deliver dynamic projects.
Contract: Permanent
Hourly Rate: Competitive, depending on experience and level
Hybrid: Hybrid working—4 days in the office, 1 day at home (Tuesday)
Holidays: 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 31 days with loyalty days, plus bank holidays
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role:
Work closely with engineers and clients in the Manchester office.
Liaise with clients and act as the point of contact for BIM expertise.
Participate in coordination meetings internally and externally.
Check your own and others’ work to ensure accuracy and quality.
Contribute to the development of 3D models, considering maintenance, buildability, and access requirements.
Use Revit MEP to model systems, create schedules, and manage sheets.
Coordinate MEP services through strong 3D integration and clash detection.
Work with AutoCAD, and ideally have experience with Dynamo (desired but not essential).
Key Skills Required:
Sound understanding of Revit MEP, including system modelling and scheduling.
Proficient in Navisworks for clash detection.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Familiar with BIM terminology and 3D modelling in the Revit environment.
Ability to produce clear, neat drawings and models.
Experience with Office 365 products.
Positive attitude, strong team player, proactive, and capable of mentoring others.
Understanding of sustainable design principles and passion for working on innovative projects.
