LEAD INFORMATION

• Job Title: Intermediate Mechanical Engineer
• Site Location: London (Hybrid working available)
• Responsible to: Project Associate or Director
• Purpose of the Role: To design and deliver mechanical services across a variety of sectors, contributing to prestigious and innovative projects in building services engineering.
• Client Brief: Deliver high-quality mechanical engineering designs for projects in sectors such as offices, commercial, healthcare, retail, and residential communities, while working in a sustainable, dynamic team environment.

• Reason for Vacancy: Expansion of the team and ongoing projects.
• Contract: Permanent
• Hourly Rate: £35k - £50k (salary depending on experience)
• Shifts: Standard office hours with possible hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
• Holidays: 26 days holiday + bank holidays, rising to 31 days with loyalty days.

• Design mechanical services across multiple sectors, working on both small and large-scale projects.
• Ensure technical performance standards are met while delivering projects effectively.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team, reporting to the Associate or Director.
• Communicate with clients, representing the company at all levels.
• Participate in the use of 3D design tools such as StabiCAD and other relevant software (training provided).
• Provide expertise in mechanical services design and project delivery.

• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in building services engineering.
• Experience using design software tools such as REVIT (knowledge of MagiCAD is advantageous).
• Strong communication skills for both client interaction and internal team collaboration.
• Experience in mechanical services design with a variety of sectors.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team to meet project goals.
• Interest or progress towards Chartered Status.
• People management experience (desirable).
• Flexibility for travel and inter-office collaboration.
• Knowledge of mechanical services, including cable sizing and lighting design software.
