We're a globally integrated Audit, Tax and Advisory firm with offices in more than 100 countries - and as a result of our growth, we're ready to recruit an experienced and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Sustainability Services Division in Melbourne.
This is a client-facing leadership role, responsible for driving our sustainability service offering while collaborating closely with senior partners and the People & Organisation division. About the role: - Lead client-facing sustainability engagements, providing advice across ESG strategy, materiality assessment, climate reporting (e.g., ASRS, TCFD), climate risk assessments, carbon accounting and broader advisory projects.
- Develop and implement sustainability roadmaps (e.g., transition plans and net zero targets) and practical solutions for clients across diverse industries.
- Collaborate with senior partners and the People & Organisation division to provide integrated services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
- Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives.
- Operate as the Melbourne lead for sustainability, mentoring and guiding junior team members as required.
- Play an active role in the Melbourne leadership team, contributing to the growth and strategic direction of the sustainability function.
- Contribute to internal sustainability initiatives.
About you: - 5-10 years' experience in sustainability related advisory services.
- Ideally, you have experienced with:
- AASB S2 implementation: gap analysis, climate strategy, climate risks and scenarios analysis; GHG accounting
- Assurance of sustainability / GHG accounting reports
- Financial accounting and reporting processes
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Comfortable leading projects independently while collaborating across teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the drive to establish and grow a sustainability service line.
- Passionate about creating meaningful outcomes for clients and society.
