About the role:
In the Tax division at Forvis Mazars, we work with our clients to provide tax solutions that will help them achieve their objectives. By joining Forvis Mazars, you will be a part of one agile, integrated and collaborative team across sectors, services and geographies.  
  

• Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups, including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSFs
• Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
• Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other senior business services accountants
• Delegating and reviewing junior work
• Use of MYOB suite, Xero, Class Super
• Liaising with clients and other external service providers
• Develop your knowledge with U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualised learning platform
• Assist with tax due diligence
• Corporate income tax returns and associated compliance obligations including International Dealings Schedules
• Compliance obligations including Country-by-Country Reporting

About you:

• Ideally, around 3 or more years experience in Tax or Business Advisory within an Australian accounting firm
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Willingness to learn in specialist areas such as Transfer Pricing, GST and state taxes
