Audit Partner – 30 June Portfolio | Sydney

Forvis Mazars is looking for an experienced Audit Partner to join our Sydney Audit & Assurance practice, bringing an established portfolio of predominantly 30 June year-end, for-profit audit clients.

About the role As an Audit Partner, you’ll bring your experience, relationships and portfolio into an established Sydney Audit & Assurance practice.
You will:

• Act as engagement and signing Partner across statutory audits, group audits, reviews and related assurance engagements.
• Lead the transition and onboarding of your portfolio, with a focus on maintaining strong client relationships and continuity of service.
• Work with our audit team to deliver high-quality outcomes across your portfolio.
• Continue to grow your client base through strategic account development, tenders and new opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with Boards, Audit Committees, owners and senior executives.
• Coach and develop talented audit professionals and contribute to building future leaders.
• Play an active role in the continued development and growth of our Sydney Audit & Assurance practice. 

About you You’ll bring:

• Extensive external audit experience at Partner, Director or equivalent level.
• An established portfolio of predominantly 30 June year-end, for-profit audit clients that you reasonably expect to transition, subject to the firm’s client acceptance requirements.
• Current membership of CA ANZ, CPA Australia or an equivalent recognised professional accounting body.
• A current Certificate of Public Practice or equivalent.
• Current registration as an Australian Registered Company Auditor.
• Strong relationships and an established presence within the Sydney business market.
• A commitment to audit quality, professional judgement and excellent client service.
• The ability to lead, develop and inspire high-performing audit teams.
