About the role:

Working amidst the team and directly with local and international clients, the role has a broad remit including, but not limited to:

• Preparation of the month-end close process working closely with seniors and management
• Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally, ideally have experience with Xero
• Client-facing, as the day-to-day contact with clients in relation to:
  • Oversight of accounts payable and processing of supplier payment runs
  • Preparation of accounts receivable invoices
  • Preparation of payroll tax lodgements and reconciliations
  • Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements
  • Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff

About you:

• Have completed bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
• Have completed or are looking to complete CA, CPA or Equivalent Qualified 
• Experience in management accounting
• Ideally have experience with professional services in accounting and tax/outsourcing, ideally from a local top or mid-tier firm
• Experience with Xero, NetSuite or other cloud accounting software's would be beneficial
• Knowledge & experience with tax compliance requirements for GST, WHT and ongoing tax office lodgements
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organisation & time management skills
• Excellent relationship management, teamwork, and collaboration skills
• Strong numerical and IT skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to learn
