About the Role As a
Corporate Tax Senior, you will play a key role within the Tax Consulting team, supporting the delivery of high‑quality tax advisory and compliance services to a varied client base including multinational groups, large private businesses and emerging enterprises.
You will be involved in both advisory and compliance work, contributing to complex matters and supporting senior team members and Partners across a wide range of engagements.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct tax research and interpret complex Australian and international tax legislation.
- Assist in drafting clear and commercially focused tax advice for clients.
- Support the structuring of business operations and investments.
- Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients in relation to various tax matters.
- Contribute to due diligence, M&A, and cross‑border projects.
- Deliver high‑quality compliance services for complex corporate clients.
- Work across a range of industries, supporting both local and international clients.
- Collaborate closely with Tax Managers, Senior Managers and Partners on engagements.
About You We are seeking a motivated and technically strong tax professional who ideally has:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Corporate Tax within an Australian accounting or tax consulting environment.
- Experience across corporate income tax, CGT, M&A tax, and/or international tax (generalist or specialist backgrounds welcome).
- Progress towards or completion of a Masters of Tax or similar postgraduate qualification (highly regarded).
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and be challenged.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to build long‑term client relationships.
