About the role:

In the Tax Consulting Division at Forvis Mazars, we work with our clients to provide tax solutions that will help them achieve their objectives. By joining Forvis Mazars, you will be a part of one agile, integrated and collaborative team across sectors, services and geographies. You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clients, from private to large global corporations.
The role will involve assisting the Tax Manager with the following:  

• Structuring of acquisition and sales of businesses and investments
• All areas of corporate taxation, capital gains tax and employment taxes
• Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
• Taxation due diligence
• Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients

About you:

• From 2 or more years experience in Tax with exposure to written advisory within an Australian law or accounting firm
• An interest in income tax advice relating to corporate tax, CGT, personal income tax and international tax
• Interested in completing a Masters of Law or Tax 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Willingness to learn
