About the job:
 
As part of the Tax Consulting team, in this role your focus will be on providing outstanding tax advisory services to our diverse client portfolio, including international corporates, privately-owned businesses and high wealth family groups. Additionally, you will assist with complex compliance obligations for our growing portfolio of international corporate clients. You will be a key contributor to our fast-growing business and will help to build our future as well as your own career.
 
Duties include but are not limited to:
 

• Undertaking tax research, analysing and interpreting tax legislation
• Drafting advice for clients in relation to various Australian taxation issues 
• Assistance in relation to structuring of businesses and investments
• Liaising and negotiating with the ATO on behalf of clients
• Providing high level of tax advice in all areas of taxation
• Provide services to local and international clients
• Work across a diverse range of industries
• Tax advisory for companies and individuals
• Assist with taxation compliance for complex clients
• Report to the Tax partners

 
About you
 

• Ideally have 5 or more years experience in Tax Advisory within Australian accounting firm. Candidates with either generalist corporate tax experience or experience in a specialist role (e.g. transfer pricing) are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in income tax advice relating to corporate tax, CGT, companies, personal income tax and international tax
• Have or completing a Masters of Tax or similar ideal
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills
• Willingness to learn
