About the role:

Forvis Mazars has created a new International and Indirect Tax Division where you will work with two of our newer Partners to provide tax solutions for our clients. By joining Forvis Mazars, you will be a part of one agile, integrated, and collaborative team across sectors, services, and geographies. You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad spectrum of taxes and work across a variety of clients, from large global corporations to private wealth, and from tech businesses to property developers.  This role lends itself to you both building broad skills and tax knowledge and developing expertise in specialisations of your choice, as follows:   

• Preparing international tax advice with consideration of the following issues: CFC rules, permanent establishments, transfer pricing, hybrid mismatch rules, Pillar II
• Assistance with compliance for multinational groups including: corporate income tax returns, CbC reporting, FBT, tax accounting
• Researching, analysing, and interpreting tax legislation with an emphasis on practical, written advice to assist business decision makers
• Report to the Tax Partners in a small team environment
• Developing a direct advisory responsibility to clients, other Partners and the Forvis Mazars international network

 
About you: 

• Between 3 - 8 years of experience in Tax within an Australian accounting or law firm
• Keen interest in developing or transferring tax knowledge in an advisory role
• CA or Master of Laws or Tax, or a willingness to undertake suitable training in the specialisations of your choice
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
