Reports to: National Sales Manager
Selling: In person, by phone, and at education conferences across the region.
Tired of your best work going unnoticed? This is a rare chance to own a patch, sell something schools genuinely want, and get rewarded for every win you create. You, your territory, and a product that makes life easier for thousands of families. And a great team plus supportive leader with you!
This is a genuinely unique role. It is a tech sales role, but not the kind where you are stuck behind a desk or living on back-to-back virtual calls. It is built around real, in-person selling: face to face with school leaders, out in your region, and at events across the sector. If you are an AE and want to own the full cycle, a BDM craving real autonomy, or a proven performer wanting to break into tech sales with purpose, read on.
ABOUT KINDO
Kindo is modernising how schools and families manage payments and administration across New Zealand. Too many schools still run on manual systems, spreadsheets, and clunky processes that eat up staff time and frustrate parents.
Kindo removes that friction. One simple, digital platform handles payments, permissions, donations, and communication in a single place, giving schools their time back and giving families a far easier experience. Adoption is accelerating nationally, and that is why we are investing in dedicated territory ownership across the lower North Island.
THE ROLE
This is not transactional SaaS selling. This is trusted-advisor selling into principals and school leaders, built on relationships, credibility, and long-term thinking.
You will own your territory end to end: building the pipeline, winning the trust of school leadership, closing new schools, and driving student onboarding growth across the region. You will sell in person, over the phone, and at national education conferences. In other words, you are out in the field meeting people, not stuck behind a desk or on a constant stream of virtual calls.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
