Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Registrar PGY 4+ for a regional Emergency Department in NSW. This role is ideal for a senior RMO or early-career Registrar looking to gain high-volume clinical experience in a supportive regional environment. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide frontline emergency care.

Dates June - August 
Rates $160-180ph 

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of undifferentiated emergency presentations.
• Patient Flow: Efficiently manage your caseload to maintain department throughput.
• Supervision: Provide guidance to junior RMOs and Interns during your shift.
• Escalation: Consult with the ED Consultant or relevant specialty teams for admissions and complex management plans.

Selection Criteria

• Registration: Full AHPRA General Registration.
• Experience: Minimum PGY4+level with at least 6–12 months of prior Emergency Medicine experience.
• Certifications: Valid ALS1 (or ALS2) is essential.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with rural patients and coordinating with metropolitan retrieval services.
