Love wine? We're looking for the next Junior Sommelier to join our growing team at Bopp & Tone by Applejack.

The Venue...
Bopp & Tone reflects the nostalgic and optimistic post WW2 era, embodying every day opulence and grandeur. The style is lived-in luxury, with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The Australian menu, centres around honest and generous share food with Mediterranean influences, and is predominantly cooked on the in-house wood grill or charcoal oven. 

The Role...
Reporting to our Senior Sommelier and working arm in arm with the restaurant teams, you will be focused on assisting in all levels of stock replenishment, customer service and providing recommendations or advice to patrons, assisting working a section and being involved in training and upskilling the team. 

Preferred experience...

• Proven experience in a Sommelier or wine-focused role within premium hospitality.
• WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, with a genuine passion for expanding your knowledge and sharing it with others.
• A strong understanding of restaurant operations, complemented by exceptional food and beverage knowledge.
• A natural ability to create memorable guest experiences through confident, engaging and knowledgeable wine service.
• A positive, collaborative approach and a genuine passion for hospitality, people and great food and wine.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
