Senior Contracts Administrators to join our client's major construction project based in Perth CBD.
An exciting opportunity exists for experienced contracts and commercial professionals to join a large-scale construction project. We are seeking candidates across both
Pre-Contract and Post-Contract functions, providing the opportunity to contribute to successful project delivery within a high-performing commercial team.
Role 1: Senior Contracts Administrator – Pre-Contract & Subcontracts
As a Pre-Contract Senior Contracts Administrator, you will play a key role in the procurement and establishment of subcontract packages, supporting the
project from early procurement planning through to subcontract award.
You will be responsible for managing tender processes, evaluating submissions, supporting negotiations, and ensuring subcontract packages are commercially aligned with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for subcontract works, materials, and services.
- Develop and issue tender documentation, requests for proposal (RFPs), and procurement schedules.
- Source and engage suitable subcontractors and suppliers.
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of tender submissions.
- Support subcontract negotiations and contract award recommendations.
- Assist with the development of procurement strategies and subcontractor engagement plans.
- Maintain procurement schedules and monitor progress against project requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with project procurement procedures.
- Support commercial reporting and procurement tracking.
About You:
- Experienced Pre-Contract Contracts Administrator, Subcontracts Specialist, Procurement Specialist, or Commercial Advisor.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontract procurement activities within construction.
- Strong understanding of tendering, subcontract negotiations, and commercial evaluations.
- Experience delivering procurement outcomes on major building, infrastructure, or complex construction projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with procurement systems such as SAP will be highly regarded.
Role 2: Senior Contracts Administrator – Post-Contract Commercial Specialist / Quantity Surveyor We are seeking an experienced Post-Contract Contracts Administrator who specialises in subcontract administration, commercial management, claims, and contract delivery.
In this role, you will manage subcontract packages throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, commercial performance, and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer subcontract packages from contract award through to completion and final account.
- Manage subcontractor progress claims, variations, extensions of time, and contractual matters.
- Review and assess subcontractor claims and entitlement submissions.
- Support preparation and management of head contract claims.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
- Identify and manage contractual risks, opportunities, and disputes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
About You:
- Experienced Post-Contract Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, or Commercial Advisor.
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontract packages through construction delivery.
- Strong understanding of contract administration, variations, claims, and commercial risk management.
- Experience working on major construction, infrastructure, or complex building projects.
- Strong commercial judgement with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
