We are seeking Maintenance Road Workers to join our pool of skilled personnel, supporting road maintenance teams across various Perth metro depots located both North and South of the river.
This is an opportunity to work on critical road maintenance activities and part of a collaborative team delivering a wide range of maintenance works on busy road networks.
Hourly rate: $48.00 per hour plus penalties + Super
Roster & Hours

• 80 ordinary hours per fortnight across 9 shifts.
  • o 8 days × 9 hours, 1 day × 8 hours, plus 1 rostered day off (RDO).
• Rostered between 6:00am – 6:00pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch.
• Occasional overtime may apply for emergency/incident response (pre-approval required).

Key Duties

• Carry out minor road maintenance activities including pothole repairs, gully replacement, brush cutting, minor pruning, sign panel and guidepost replacement.
• Assist in graffiti removal and general roadside upkeep.
• Support traffic management activities.
• Operate plant and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience working in high traffic volume areas.
• Competence in operating mobile plant and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety systems, risk management, and compliance.

Qualifications

• WA Drivers’ License – MR highly desirable
• Construction white card
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) - highly desirable
• Police Clearance

Additional Requirements

• Must successfully pass a drug & alcohol screening prior to engagement.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual outdoor labour.
