What we are looking for:

Shotfirers and Blast crew for works at Rio Tinto across various Pilbara mine sites, helping to drive productivity and achieve operational targets. These roles are an excellent opportunity for team-oriented and motivated individuals who thrive in a supportive and safety-driven environment.
Shotfirer’s - $60 - $65 per hour flat
Blast Crew - $50 per hour flat

Must Have:
To be considered for this role you must obtain/have the following:

• Current Rio Tinto Inductions
• WA Driver’s License
• Police Clearance
• Australian Work Rights
• Valid Shotfirer’s ticket (mandatory)
• Valid Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Ability to lead and coordinate a blast crew, ensuring safe and efficient blasting operations.
• Experience working with electronic detonators.
• Strong focus on housekeeping and compliance within magazines, magazine compounds, explosive vehicles, and work areas
• Must be Able to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol testing.
