One Tech Engineering is searching for a Designer for a position located in Inver Grove, Minnesota. The Designer will be responsible for organizing and digitizing drawing documentation for gas plants.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2-3 years of experience working with engineering-type drawings.
  
Designer Responsibilities:  

• Review and scan numerous physical drawing files into an electronic format, documenting and categorizing them effectively.
• Title, organize, and attribute drawings in the electronic repository.
• Collaborate with plant staff to gather and verify necessary drawings.
• Implement minor markups as needed based on feedback from plant staff.
• Make updates and modifications to Operations and Maintenance (O&M) documentation as required.
• Perform light design work related to O&M changes, as necessary.

• 2-3 years of experience working with engineering-type drawings.
• A background in mechanical or electrical engineering or similar industries, such as power plants or industrial settings, is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation software.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills.
