One Tech Engineering is searching for a Project Controls Specialist for a position located in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Denver, Colorado; or Amarillo, Texas. The Project Controls Specialist will create work orders, purchase requisitions, and non-work order PRs for our engineers in SAP.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have at least a year of project support experience.
  
Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities: 

• Managing project metrics, including monitoring inactive and missing completed reports, while working closely with project leads to resolve issues, submit extensions, and complete project closeouts.
• Handling SAP-related tasks such as generating WBS elements, and addressing unique project challenges with attention to detail in collaboration with finance, accounting, and supply chain teams.
• Perform primary project controls assignments to support Project Managers.
• Accountable for generating reports, assisting with control activities, responding to data requests and supporting various Metric Reporting resolution.
• Coordinates with Project Managers to obtain necessary information to assist with completing tasks.

• 1-2 years of project support experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Must be proficient with MS Suite.
• SAP and MDO experience are nice to have.
• Power Plan experience would also be nice to have.
• Must possess root cause analysis, and critical thinking/analysis skills 
• Must have strong communication skills.
