One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Supervisor for a position located in Hobbs, New Mexico. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing complex electrical activities, providing technical recommendations, and ensuring compliance with safety and contract standards.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 7-10 years of electrical experience including low and medium-voltage electrical work.

Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:  

• Oversee low and medium-voltage work, including field connections to solar panels and the next tracker system.
• Provide oversight to the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contractors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Offer technical recommendations on electrical activities during construction.
• Ensure that all electrical work meets the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, ensuring all activities adhere to safety regulations and best practices.
• Work with contractors to ensure technical and safety oversight.
• Ensure connections to the solar panels are secured.

• 7-10 years of electrical experience including low and medium-voltage electrical work.
• Experience in prioritizing and promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and best practices in all activities.
• Previous experience within the electrical discipline for solar construction is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the NEXTracker system would be a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
