One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Supervisor for a position located in Earth, Texas. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the construction of the large solar unit.
  
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 7-10 years of previous civil experience preferably in solar construction.

Construction Supervisor Responsibilities:  

• Manage the civil aspects of the project, particularly in a sandy and rocky terrain.
• Ensure the ground is level and suitable for construction, which involves significant grading work.
• Implement and adhere to the Storm Water Prevention Plan (SWPP) and environmental regulations. Provide oversight to the EPC contractor performing the construction work.
• Verify that the work aligns with the agreed-upon contract specifications.
• Use Procore software to verify drawings and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in daily meetings with the team to discuss progress and address any issues.
• Interact with each teammates to ensure safety, smooth communication and collaboration.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site.
• Make effective decisions and recommendations to keep the project on track.
•  Make necessary recommendations to the EPC contractor to improve processes or address challenges.
• Ensure that all environmental and safety regulations are being followed.

• 7-10 years of previous civil experience preferably in solar construction.
• A strong background in safety, with the ability to prioritize and promote a strong safety culture on-site.
• Understanding of soil types and grading, particularly in sandy and rocky terrains.
• Knowledge of SWPP to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in general computer use, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Procore software for verifying drawings and project management.
• Ability to communicate effectively across different groups and functions, ensuring clear and efficient collaboration.
• OSHA 30 would be nice to have.
