One Tech Engineering is searching for a Survey Technician for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Survey Technician will be responsible for assisting with the new pilot program that will collect gas leak data. The Survey Technician will be responsible for driving company vehicle in the dark hours that is equipped with survey technology.  
  
Candidates must be a US citizenship or hold a green card, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a valid driver's license and be familiar with navigation software.
  
Survey Technician Responsibilities:  

• Drive AMLD-equipped vehicles to survey designated areas of the natural gas system, following specific maps provided by the company for comprehensive coverage. 
• Conduct surveys, including after dark, to obtain more accurate readings of potential gas leaks. 
• Turn on AMLD equipment and drive to the mapped areas to perform the survey, ensuring thorough data collection during each run. 
• Record all survey data via electronic data collectors in the field and download survey points to the company device for further processing. 
• Report any alarms or potential leaks to the gas dispatch team and emergency responders for prompt action. 
• Communicate with the emergency gas team if a leak is discovered, ensuring the proper handling and safety protocols are followed. 
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to during survey operations, prioritizing safety at all times. 
• Collaborate with the gas dispatch team and natural gas emergency responders as needed for effective leak management. 

• Previous experience in delivery driving jobs (e.g., Amazon, UPS, USPS) is preferred. 
• Ability to drive at night (dark hours) and navigate effectively in various conditions. 
• Familiarity with following routes and maps, ensuring effective navigation of delivery areas. 
• Experience using navigation software, such as Google Maps or Apple Maps, is beneficial (similar to the Picaro software used in this role). 
• Proficient in using tablets and software applications, including Picaro, AMLD leak survey software, and PQ software. 
• Strong written and oral communication skills. 
• Valid driver's license required.
