One Tech Engineering is searching for a Construction Manager for a position located in Brush, Colorado. The Construction Manager will manage and oversee the conversion process from coal to natural gas at a power plant.
  
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 5+ years of management experience, preferably in power plant operations.
  
Construction Manager Responsibilities:  

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Review, interpret, and work with technical drawings.
• Collaborate on civil, electrical, and mechanical components of the project.
• Act as an onsite liaison between the project manager (PM), contractors, and plant personnel.
• Facilitate scheduled updates with contractors to discuss progress, identify any challenges, and ensure alignment on upcoming tasks.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Monitor and address any potential safety concerns, reporting to the Project Manager.
• Track project milestones, document progress, and report any issues or required mitigations to the Project Manager.

• 5+ years of management experience, preferably in power plant operations.
• Technical expertise in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical work, with a focus on piping, welding, and schematic interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with power plant operations and associated technical areas.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other Autodesk software tools for project design and review.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Skilled in maintaining safety and quality standards while driving project progress.
• Experience in overseeing on-site operations, particularly in power plant environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with stakeholders, teams, and contractors.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
