One Tech Engineering is searching for an Electrical Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Electrical Engineer will work on distribution system modeling to understand the optimal location/settings for cap banks/ reclosers.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering Degree and experience with power distribution systems and utility operations.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with various teams to support company’s integrated voltage-var optimization (IVVO)/Fault location, isolation, and service restoration (FLISR) program
• Create settings for devices such as cap bank controllers, reclosers etc.
• Support communications and integration testing of capacitor banks to advanced distribution management systems
• Maintain issue trackers on field issues and pro-active communication to management on issues

• Bachelors of Electrical Engineering Degree.
  
• Experience with power distribution systems and utility operations.
• Experience with distribution system modeling tools such as Synergi and/or CYME.
• Familiarity with Advanced Distribution Management System Applications (e.g., IVVO, FLISR).
• Programming skills in Python, C/C++.
• Proficient in MS Suite.
