The Role
Due to increased business success, a newly created role has been developed
for a passionate candidate who is looking for an opportunity to work with a
progressive business who focusses on quality advice and outcomes.
This role sits between the advisers and support staff to deliver client friendly and compliant advice and implementation. You will oversee the preparation of
accurate, timely and compliant advice documents.
Specifically, this role entails:
- Reviewing advice document requests and client files: complete pre –advice checks to ensure completeness and compliance requirements have been met; review advice request forms and liaise with advisers as necessary
- Review advice documents to ensure they meet legal and regulatory requirements
- Brief paraplanners to facilitate the production of advice documents
- Ensure the advice documents (and accompanying documentation) is “audit ready” and monitor its implementation utilising your support team
- Assist with systems and processes to ensure databases are up to date
- Assist with Xplan task management, monitoring and reporting
- Assist in staff training and mentoring
- Assist in the development of new advice delivery and implementation processes, as required
The PersonTo be suitable for this role, you will have a passion for delivering strategic
financial solutions to clients and be forward thinking with your ideas.
This role would suit a senior paraplanner, compliance, remediation or technical
specialist who enjoys constructing advice, but looking to broaden their skills
and responsibilities by getting closer to client solutions.
You must also display the following skills and attributes:
- A strong working knowledge of financial planning strategies and the advice process
- A Bachelors’ degree in a business related field
- Financial planning qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritise tasks and be able to manage your time effectively
- Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills
- IT literate with the ability to use business support software
- Experience with financial planning software such as Xplan
