About Our Client

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established group of businesses operating in the community services sector, including NDIS providers, aged care organisations, and private support services. The group operates nationally and delivers a wide range of disability, aged care, and health services to diverse communities across Australia.

The client is committed to empowering individuals through person-centred, high-quality care, whether funded privately or through government programs such as the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and Home Care Packages (HCP).

They are currently seeking an experienced and detail-driven Bookkeeper to join their team in Auburn, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the bookkeeping and financial operations across multiple businesses within the group.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing accounts payable and receivable (including international transactions)
• Performing bank reconciliations and overseeing petty cash
• Managing payroll processes, including superannuation obligations
• Overseeing credit control, budget tracking, and cash flow
• Preparing accurate end-of-month and end-of-year reports
• Handling financial correspondence across various entities within the group
• Supporting compliance for government-funded programs (NDIS, HCP, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
• Qualifications in Bookkeeping or a related field
• Proficiency in accounting platforms such as Xero or Reckon (essential)
• Intermediate Excel skills and high-level computer literacy
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to manage bookkeeping duties across multiple businesses
• Experience with NDIS or HCP claims (highly desirable)
• Strong time management and ability to work independently
