Support/Care Worker – Richmond VIC 3121

An experienced and dependable Support/Care Worker is required for a in-home support role based in Croydon Hills VIC 3136. This position offers every Thursday 10am-1pm, with an immediate start. - Please note once you are on our system - you may be contacted for further shifts after.

This role is well-suited to a qualified professional who resides locally and is confident working independently in a home-based care setting.

Role Overview The Support Worker will be responsible for providing ongoing, in-home and community-based support in Richmond. Duties will include:

• Assisting with daily living tasks and light domestic activities
• Encouraging community participation and personal independence
• Maintaining professional standards of privacy, dignity, and respect
• Keeping accurate records and following care plans
• Complying with food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards

Key Requirements

• Must reside in or near Croydon Hills VIC 3136
• Availability to work every thursday 10am-1pm.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day care responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and a respectful, person-centred approach
• Current P1 driver’s licence and willingness to transport the client if required

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III or above in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability Support
• Prior experience in in-home or community-based care roles
• Calm, compassionate, and professional care approach

Mandatory Requirements

• Legal right to work in Australia
• 100 points of ID
• National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• NSW Working With Children Check
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
